Well, it isn’t really either. I mean, I suppose that you could enter something humorous, but for the most part what I get are taken pretty seriously.
Basically, a “headcanon” is what’s canon in your head; there doesn’t need to be any proof for it. For example, there’s one recent HC that suggests that Shizuo listens to the piano because he finds it relaxing. Now, obviously, there’s no proof for this; but there’s no proof against it, either, and it is therefore a headcanon.
Does that make a little more sense?
So basically, these things don’t really have to be taken seriously, but they’re not some big joke, either.
